Elegant, clean, functional. These are the words I'd use to describe Terry's unique ability to create an incredible looking page by doing less instead of more. There is a purpose to how each element on a page interacts with the others, which Terry achieves through his knowledge of typography, white space, and overall balance. His attention to the small details is what gives his design the finished, polished look that sets his work above others. The design draws you into its message and then gets out of the way.

I've known Terry for many years as a coworker, client, and friend. He's is a very genuine person who takes pride in his work. I'm always confident handing over a job to Terry, knowing he will complete it within the timeframe. Terry is consistent in his design approach and can work within any guidelines set for a particular project. Most importantly, Terry has proved to be a loyal friend and a dependable, professional designer.

(Scott is a former art director of Towery Publishing, Inc., where he was Terry's Senior AD for four years. He is now proprietor of Scott McWilliams Design in Kentucky and has used Terry's freelance services on several projects.)
